Overview
Waterville Senior High School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Nordic Ski Coach to lead a second-year team for the 2025-26 season. The program is based at the Quarry Rd Trails, with 13.3 km of world-class groomed nordic trails, located 2.9 miles from the high school campus. Responsibilities
Assist the head coach in planning and delivering Nordic ski practices for a second-year high school team; Support athlete development, technique, conditioning, and race preparation; Promote safety and team culture, and ensure compliance with school policies and regulations; Assist with travel, competition logistics, and event coordination as needed. Qualifications
Experience coaching Nordic skiing or related endurance sports; Strong communication and leadership skills; Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and staff; Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion as outlined by Waterville Public Schools. Additional information
