Now Hiring Part-Time Transit Bus Driver with Articulating experience in Rockville, MD

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced CDL Driver to join our team in Rockville, MD. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. Transdev is proud to offer: Competitive compensation package of minimum $18.00 – maximum $22.00 Benefits include: Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks Sick days: 5 days Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability Company paid ASE testing, training materials, and tool reimbursement Key Responsibilities: Safely transports buses Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections Move buses/articulating buses from one location to another Qualifications: Good verbal communication skills At least 21 years old Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years Need to have active CDL Experience with articulating buses Be subject to a drug screen & physical Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason. Physical Requirements: The essential functions of this position require the ability to: Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions — 100% of the job is performed outside, work solo and in remote locations Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces Push and pull objects; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to reach files or equipment stored at ground level Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes and noise Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
