Be part of an exciting new chapter at the Missouri Athletic Club with the opening of MAC Clayton, the Club's newest location, designed to carry forward more than 120 years of tradition into a modern and elevated experience. Anticipated to open early 2026, MAC Clayton will feature state-of-the-art facilities, refined dining, and thoughtfully designed spaces for athletics, wellness, and social connection. This new Clubhouse will serve as a cornerstone for members seeking excellence in hospitality, culinary innovation, and community engagement. The MAC has thrived since 1903 by staying true to its founders\' vision: delivering extraordinary experiences with excellence, service, and tradition at the heart of everything we do. The Missouri Athletic Club is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced individual for a Food and Beverage Manager position at our Clayton location. This will be a full-time position. Shifts will include days, evenings and weekends. Hours will vary based on business needs. RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains dining outlet standards as determined by the F&B team Anticipates members needs through effective engagement of each shift Makes snap decisions with the member satisfaction in mind, while keeping the employees well being Effectively communicates areas of opportunity to the F&B team; proactively looks for solutions to these opportunities without being told Monitors each meal period, ensuring all S.O.S are being utilized by the staff members Conducts pre-shift meetings with FOH team and Chefs to focus employees for upcoming service Fully engages in F&B directives as set forth by weekly meetings with the management team; participates in developing focuses as a team Maintains liquor, beer, and/or wine inventory/orders within budgetary standards as set by upper management Effectively writes and manages the schedule within budgetary standards as set by upper management Works within budget expectations to proactively hire, train, and replace employees as needed Keeps up with current business trends to keep dining outlets current, relevant, and member friendly Performs other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS
Must have at least 3-5 years of related experience or a Bachelor\'s Degree in Hospitality Hotel or Country Club experience preferred Must have good leadership and communication skills
