The Berry Companies are a family of businesses led by founder and CEO Joe Berry. The company owns and manages housing and lodging in the Mount Washington Valley, including homes, condominiums, apartments, hotel rooms, suites, and vacation rentals, and operates a vacation ownership program.
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Full and Part Time Housekeeping Inspector to join our team to ensure our guests receive the highest quality facilities, accommodations, and amenities at our resorts.
Responsibilities
Inspection of all units and common areas to ensure resort standards are met.
Daily inspection of common areas; inspection of each unit after cleaning; coordinate resources within the department and assist management as needed.
Review daily housekeeping work chart to balance workload.
Inspect cleanliness of all common areas daily; check bathrooms, flooring for cleanliness and safety.
Inspect units after housekeeping completion to verify they meet resort standards; complete required checklists and be prepared for spot cleaning.
Check unit cleanliness, kitchen inventory, closets for bedding and supplies, and verify heating/cooling and refrigerator settings.
Review units for damages and report as needed.
Coordinate with housekeepers to correct work; request adjustments as needed.
Communicate with Department Managers, Front Desk, and Unit Maintenance for timely check-ins, repairs, and guest services.
Clean units as needed and stock/clean storage areas as needed.
Work with Housekeeping Management and Office staff for staff direction, daily organization, and a positive work environment.
Other duties as assigned; duties may change at any time with or without notice.
Knowledge and Skills
Housekeeping experience.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and without supervision.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Microsoft Office proficiency.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work weekends and holidays
