Overview We are seeking an Assistant Middle School Wrestling Coach to join our athletics program, working with boys and girls in grades 6–8. The season begins October 20, with practices held Monday through Thursday after school from approximately 2:30 to 4:20 p.m. Five meets are scheduled, beginning in November with about one meet per week, and the season concludes in the third week of December.
Responsibilities
Supervise student‑athletes during practices and competitions.
Support meet preparation and logistics.
Assist with communication to athletes and families.
Help the head coach plan and lead practices focused on skill development, conditioning, and safety while fostering a positive and inclusive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, effort, and respect.
Qualifications
Prior wrestling or coaching experience is preferred.
Ability to work effectively with middle school students of all ability levels.
