Position Summary
As a Meat Department Lead, you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will model expertise in Meat and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. What you'll do
Be a Team Leader:
Supervises the team within the meat department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club by communicating goals, executing company programs, adhering to policies, and advocating for members, associates, and the company. Works collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets members' expectations. Be an Expert:
Maintains in-depth knowledge of business operations, product updates, and specifications. Ensures the meat department meets company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, safety, sanitation, and compliance. Shares knowledge and trains the team to understand item specifications and use equipment effectively. Engages with members and shares passion for the product to assist in making the right protein choices. Be a Techie:
Utilizes digital tools to plan sales, improve shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Uses handheld technology for business decisions related to production, training, and product quality. Adopts new tools and encourages team use. Be an Owner:
Drives business results by maintaining operational excellence, a clean and safe work area, and proper inventory and staffing. Ensures equipment and storage systems are in working order and merchandise is displayed according to plan. Be a Talent Ambassador:
