The Associate Client Manager – MJ Retirement is responsible for supporting MJ Retirement clients by delivering superior client service, managing client onboarding, and assisting with plan and fund administration. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and an ability to build strong client relationships. The Associate Client Executive serves as a liaison between clients and advisors, ensuring seamless communication and execution of retirement plan services. Essential Functions

Client Service & Relationship Management

Deliver superior client service to MJ Retirement clients. Troubleshoot problems and provide effective solutions to client issues, acting as a liaison between the Advisor and clients to facilitate clear and efficient communication both verbally and in writing. Manage new client onboarding and client terminations. Attend client meetings, including regularly scheduled investment reviews and specialty meetings such as Board, Committee, and Subcommittee meetings. Address and resolve any high-level participant questions, ensuring excellent client satisfaction. Client Support & Administration

Review and analyze client reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of necessary paperwork. Conduct quarterly reviews of performance reports and document meeting notes. Maintain and update client information across all technology platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Access. Oversee and initiate plan and fund change requests. Supervise the vendor RFP process, including conducting interviews and managing the selection process. Develop and maintain productive relationships with Recordkeeper Relationship Managers and other third-party representatives. Assist with Recordkeeper conversions, confirmations, and corrections. Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Industry certifications (CRPS, Series 65) preferred or willingness to obtain. Knowledge & Experience

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a client service, support, or client-facing role. Experience in the financial services industry or retirement plan administration is preferred but not required. Experience with retirement plan recordkeeping, investment platforms, and compliance requirements is preferred but not required. Strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting. Ability to manage multiple client relationships in a fast-paced environment. Technical Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and data management tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Access. Additional Details
