Canon USA is seeking a Senior Account Executive, Workplace Technologies & Services (WTS) to sell Canon’s hardware and software technology-based solutions to a dedicated marketplace, solving key business challenges and promoting the Future of Work. This role requires residing within a reasonable commuting distance to Birmingham, AL to adequately execute responsibilities. The position offers a competitive benefits package, ongoing training, an active account base, a car allowance, and merit-based sales trips. Key responsibilities focus on mastering Canon’s core capabilities and promoting product benefits to drive sales results, with attention to cybersecurity, cloud data functionality, backfile conversion, managed print, IT and automation services. Responsibilities
Proficiently learn and utilize the Salesforce CRM platform to manage client and prospect accounts. Actively contact an assigned account base via direct calls, Canon USA’s customized email campaigns, and social media to develop sales opportunities and engagement. Conduct in-person discovery meetings, presentations, and demonstrations, leading strategic conversations with business owners, executives, and other stakeholders to identify requirements, competitive trends, and organizational needs. Develop strategic plans to address short-term and long-term customer requirements to generate new revenue streams and optimize the customer experience. Leverage a team of technology subject matter experts to enrich knowledge, facilitate sales wins, and achieve customer goals through collaboration. Develop and nurture high-level relationships within a broad customer base to enhance long-term viability and account penetration. Utilize provided tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, internal materials, ROI tools, pricing opportunities, case studies, and a business development team) to support sales efforts. Qualifications
Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (preferred), plus three years of business-to-business sales or customer-facing experience. Strong interest in learning new technology and services in a rapidly evolving industry. Proven track record of persuading others to pursue innovative ideas. Excellent communication skills and ability to build solid working relationships. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Occasional travel within the local market required (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record). Compensation and Benefits
Anticipated base salary range: $50,000–$63,160 annually. This role is eligible for incentive compensation under applicable plans; anticipated annual incentive at 100% of plan is $62,869. A transportation allowance is also provided. The role is full-time with a hybrid work schedule; some in-office and remote work as dictated by business needs (local office reporting may change).
