They’re looking for a
Customer Account Manager
to join their Chicago team - someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working cross-functionally, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
What You’ll Do:
Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring top-tier service and support.
Partner closely with Field Sales to manage existing accounts and onboard new business.
Coordinate with internal teams - including Purchasing, Operations, and Logistics - to ensure product availability and on-time delivery.
Work directly with vendors and suppliers to manage custom packaging projects, from artwork to production and fulfillment.
Process orders, quotes, and pricing updates with accuracy and attention to detail.
Track and follow up on open orders, backorders, and special requests.
Support new packaging initiatives, testing, and rollout coordination.
Maintain accurate data in CRM/ERP systems and identify ways to improve processes and strengthen customer relationships.
What You Bring:
3+ years of experience in Customer Service, Account Management, or Inside Sales (preferably in packaging, manufacturing, or distribution).
Strong communication and organizational skills - you’re the type who keeps things moving smoothly.
Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and collaborating across departments.
Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
A proactive mindset and genuine interest in helping customers succeed.
