Responsibilities
Sells heavy duty and/or light duty truck parts.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction among all assigned accounts.
Maintain thorough knowledge of all products and services sold by the company.
Cultivate assigned customer territories and accounts.
Conquest and grow new accounts.
Maintains liaison with important customers and promotes the sales of parts and accessories.
Serve as an advisor to wholesale or retail customers.
Spend time daily in solicitation of new business.
Complete product and sales training courses as assigned.
Develop and maintain full working knowledge of all company systems, procedures, and policies.
Maintain parts-related correspondence and stay up to date on new products.
Qualifications
High school diploma; Associate's degree (AA) preferred.
Prior sales experience.
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
Ability to sit throughout the day while driving to and from customer locations; longest single duration approx. 1.5 hours.
Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift/move up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis.
Ability to work in a dealership environment including 8–12 hour days with exposure to weather elements.
Computer, mathematical, and customer service skills; ability to demonstrate extensive product knowledge to customers and staff.
Highly organized, detail oriented, and results driven.
