Overview
The Global Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving strategic engagement and long-term growth with Apple. This role requires a strong blend of technical knowledge, business acumen, Nexperia systems and operations-specific knowledge, and relationship-building skills to position Nexperia as a trusted partner in Apple’s global supply chain. The GKAM will own the overall account strategy, revenue growth, and executive-level customer engagement across Apple’s global business units.
Key Responsibilities
Account Ownership & Strategy
Develop and execute a global account strategy to expand Nexperia’s footprint within Apple.
Identify and pursue new design-in and revenue growth opportunities across Apple’s product lines (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Wearables, and Accessories).
Business Development
Drive new socket wins by aligning Nexperia’s technology roadmap with Apple’s long-term product needs.
Partner with product line teams to introduce innovative solutions tailored for Apple.
Customer Engagement
Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships across Apple’s engineering, procurement, and operations teams.
Act as the primary point of escalation, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term trust.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate with Nexperia’s regional sales, FAE, and marketing teams to ensure global alignment and flawless execution.
Provide clear and consistent communication of Apple’s requirements and business trends back into Nexperia’s leadership and product teams.
Business Management
Intimate understanding of the Nexperia system, from planning engine to production and capacity forecasting
Thorough knowledge and effective execution of the handshaking process
Achieve revenue, design-in, and profitability targets for the Apple account through finding, prioritizing, and closing all ABC gaps.
Forecast business accurately and track performance against KPIs.
Negotiate commercial terms, supply agreements, and long-term commitments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus.
10+ years of semiconductor sales, business development, or key account management experience, with at least 5 years managing Apple or other top-tier OEMs.
Strong understanding of Apple’s ecosystem, supply chain dynamics, and decision-making process.
Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and driving design-in wins at a global level.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
Ability to manage complex, matrixed customer engagements across multiple geographies.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently while driving cross-functional alignment.
