Overview

Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Material Planner/Controller to join our logistics team in support of the Air Force Special Operations (AFSOC) Air Commando Training Support (ACTS) contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, performing inventory controls, and maintaining high-quality standards for audits. This is a recurring multi-year program, offering a stable and long-term opportunity for the right candidate. Responsibilities

Play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of materials and inventory. Manage inbound and outbound shipments ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Accurately enter and update inventory data in our asset management system. Maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Perform inventory controls, including conducting physical inventories and identifying damage, loss, or surplus of materials. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup, ensuring compliance with military standards and procedures. Basic Qualifications

Working knowledge of warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations and principles. Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs. Excellent organization and communication skills. Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills; ability to work in a team environment. Ability to analyze complex data and identify root causes of issues; think critically and develop effective solutions. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Certification to operate a forklift. Candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to starting. Desired Skills

Prior experience with military warehouse operations, shipping standards, and procedures. Experience with the AFSOC ACTS inventory management system ATLAS. Familiarity with standard military documents, including DD1348s, DD250s, and DD1149s. Basic knowledge of material and equipment salvage and disposals. Knowledge of applicable GFE, DFARS, and FARs. Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret. Additional Information
