Job Overview Mobile Associates are integral members of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T‑Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around T‑Mobile products and services. Mobile Associates excel at building deep relationships with customers through meaningful interactions, identifying customer needs, and recommending solutions that add value. They thrive in high‑traffic environments, using digital tools and self‑serve options to deliver exceptional customer experiences while meeting quality and sales metrics.

Job Responsibilities

Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly‑traffic retail environment, using digital tools, effective communication, and education to showcase the value of T‑Mobile solutions.

Leverage digital self‑serve tools during customer interactions and the onboarding process; identify needs and use solution‑based selling techniques to fully demonstrate T‑Mobile products and services.

Complete training on the T‑Mobile in‑store experience, new skills, products and processes, and continually improve skills to provide the best possible experience for customers.

Build customer relationships; connect on a personal level, match the pace of the customer, build rapport, and provide exceptional service to exceed customer expectations.

Partner with nearby store locations to properly onboard customers; carry keys to kiosk cabinets, lock, secure kiosk and assets, and report any lost keys or assets to a manager.

Education

High School Diploma/GED (Required)

Work Experience

6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, Retail environment preferred (Required)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Customer Satisfaction – Passionate customer advocate who balances experience and performance goals (Required)

Team Building – Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing best practices (Required)

Retail Sales – Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment (Required)

Licenses and Certifications

At least 18 years of age

Compensation Hourly Base Pay: $17.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. Once completed, Mobile Associates promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year. Actual incentives vary based on performance and full‑time status. All employees at T‑Mobile are guaranteed to earn $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. All employees are eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
