Overview
ADP is hiring a
Sales Representative, Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO) . In this role, you will close sales and win new business within a defined territory. You will attend our award-winning training program and work with both new and existing clients to sell human resources solutions, delivering high-quality benefits offerings across the hire-to-retire spectrum. You will cultivate relationships with Human Resources and executive decision-makers, set appointments, gather leads from internal partners, and assess buyer needs to present the best ADP solutions. You will manage multiple sales processes across stages, document them, and guide implementations until the new business is up and running. You will be rewarded with industry-leading compensation, benefits, and opportunities for advancement, with ongoing sales training and support from leadership.
What you’ll do
Grow Our Business While Growing Yours: Close sales, win business, and reach sales goals in a defined, protected territory using a top-down sales strategy.
Turn Prospects into Loyal Clients: Close sales by recommending the right solutions to address real business needs and generate referral business through networking with decision-makers.
Deepen Relationships Across the ADP Family: Cross-sell with other ADP associates to grow within existing accounts.
Collaborate Daily: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal partners, upholding high ethical standards.
Required qualifications
Positive self-starter with an upbeat, persistent style; ability to cold call and manage time, prioritise, and multi-task; clear communication in writing and speaking.
Strategic closer with an established network and experience carrying a quota in outside B2B sales; a proven track record of closing sales and managing a territory.
Proven winner who thrives under pressure and strives to exceed quotas.
A college degree is not required; relevant experience may include:
Three years of B2B sales experience (preferably field sales) in a results-driven environment.
Military experience highlighting teamwork, resilience, negotiation, trust-building, and a “never lose” mindset.
Preferred qualifications
Ability to build a network and effectively use social media for sales.
