The Sales Associate role is an integral part of the store’s overall success and efficiency, responsible for upholding Coach’s Service and Selling Models, creating a positive first impression, building ongoing customer relationships through a personalized experience, and leaving a positive, lasting impression. Responsibilities

SALES FLOOR: Understands organizational objectives and makes decisions that align with company priorities. Takes ownership and delivers results while remaining aware of personal and store metrics; creates personal sales and clienteling strategies in partnership with the management team. Creates short- and long-term strategies to achieve personal metrics and performance goals. Takes ownership of personal survey results and creates plans to improve areas of opportunity. Represents Coach as a brand ambassador and demonstrates Coach’s Selling and Service expectations at all times. Understands changes in local market with potential impact on business performance and supports the execution of local sales strategies and tactics. Drives business through sales strategies, clienteling, sourcing new customers and maintaining ongoing productive relationships with customers. Creates positive impressions with customers by presenting attire consistent with Coach’s Guide to Style; builds credibility as a personal fashion advisor through knowledge of fashion and competition. Provides in-depth product knowledge, including features, benefits, current offerings, and overall product value; communicates current pricing and promotional strategy. Discusses product features and leverages cross-selling techniques; cross-sells and encourages beneficial add-ons related to the customer’s shopping needs. Reads customer cues and tailors approach; attends to unique and individual shopping needs; works with multiple customers and follows up consistently to influence/close sales. Uses coaching tools and technology to support relationship-building and clienteling; promotes a team selling environment and fosters teamwork, trust, and collaboration. Maintains a calm and professional demeanor; remains solution-oriented and adaptable to changing business and store needs; welcomes feedback and adapts behaviors accordingly. Maintains a positive, energetic environment aligned with Coach’s mission. Operations

Ensures all daily tasks are completed without negatively impacting service or Coach standards. Completes daily operational tasks including maintaining store, sales floor, backroom, cash wrap, and visual merchandising to Coach standards. Maintains a clean and tidy selling floor; adheres to all applicable retail policies and procedures including POS, Operations, and Asset Protection; replenishes inventory on the sales floor as needed. Supports Store Inventory Process by processing shipments, stocking shelves, replenishing the sales floor, and maintaining strong organizational standards in the stockroom and on the sales floor. Supports cash-wrap to process purchases, returns, and exchanges; efficiently processes customer transactions (Purchase, Return, Exchange, Found Order, etc.). Organizes functional areas, performs routine cleaning, and maintains visual merchandising expectations. Qualifications and Requirements

Experience: 1–3 years of previous sales experience, preferably in a luxury retail service environment. Knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. Technical: Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills (including iPad/laptop, Mobile POS and Internet), use of walkie talkies, and ability to read price and product release sheets. Physical: Ability to work at a fast pace; communicate effectively with customers and team; maneuver the sales floor, shelves, and stock room; ability to climb, bend, and kneel; frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and up to 50 pounds for product shipment/ transfers. Schedule: Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays with high retail traffic. Competencies
