Responsibilities and expected impact:
Technical Functions (30%)
Ensure continuous operation of warehouse equipment through active operator management, monitoring and troubleshooting.
Audit Clerks’ performance to ensure quality inspection of incoming and outgoing shipments per SOPs.
Audit documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance of inbound paperwork.
Logistical Functions (35%)
Complete daily and weekly tasks using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure sustained quality and performance.
Fill-in for Shipping and Receiving Clerks and/or Warehouse Supervisors during vacations or other absences when needed.
Ensure cross-training of team members, maximize use of resources, and maintain overall team competency.
Ensure PIT inspections are taking place daily and correctly by all operators.
Team & Leadership Functions (35%)
Lead by example and drive all Plant and Safety policies and procedures, including PPE and GMP adherence.
Mentor and coach Shipping and Receiving Clerks on safety, quality, productivity, continuous improvement, and team harmony.
Communicate job knowledge and process changes to the operations team and management through shift handovers, meetings, emails, logs, and work orders.
Escalate safety, equipment, or personnel issues for immediate resolution.
Review and execute team trainings as assigned in the weekly training roster.
Skills & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
2+ years of experience in leadership roles in a warehouse environment.
Forklift experience (certification not required).
Proficient in MS Office, Teams and email.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Working Conditions
Fast-paced and changing environment.
Shift work including days, evenings, overnight shifts, and up to 12 hours.
Overtime including weekends and holidays as needed.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/move 8-12 hours per day, and ascend/descend stairs or ladders.
Occasional outdoor work and exposure to outside conditions for short periods.
Work around moving vehicles/robots with good hand/eye coordination.
PPE required (e.g., bump cap, safety toe shoes, safety glasses) and adherence to GMPs.
