Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inside Sales Coordinator to support and grow our foodservice business. This role will serve as the operational and communication hub between our outside sales team, internal departments, and key foodservice clients, including restaurants, hotels, casinos, and entertainment venues. The ideal candidate will be passionate about produce, customer service, and sales strategy, with a strong ability to translate operational data into actionable insights that drive customer satisfaction and revenue growth. Responsibilities
Customer Satisfaction & Relationship Management Serve as the primary internal point of contact for foodservice clients, ensuring timely responses to inquiries, order adjustments, and service issues. Monitor and analyze weekly sales reports to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for client engagement. Proactively communicate with clients to ensure expectations are met or exceeded, especially during high-volume periods or special events. Collaborate closely with outside sales reps to align on account strategies, pricing, and promotional activities. Assist in preparing for interviews and onboarding of new sales reps. Coordinate with procurement and dispatch teams to ensure product availability and delivery accuracy. Marketing, Procurement & Business Development Partner with marketing to develop and execute campaigns that support foodservice sales initiatives. Work with procurement to identify product opportunities and bring innovative solutions to clients. Conduct market research and support business development efforts to expand the customer base and identify new revenue streams. Menu Strategy & Culinary Collaboration Collaborate with culinary teams and clients to develop menu strategies that highlight seasonal produce and drive sales. Provide insights and recommendations based on product trends and customer preferences. Develop strategies to grow depth within each account through upselling and cross-selling. Work with finance to ensure pricing strategies align with business goals and deliver optimal economics for both the company and the customer. Brand Representation Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the company's values and commitment to quality in all client interactions. Ensure consistent messaging and professionalism across all communication channels. Qualifications
