Required Skills & Experience
4+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. Overall 2+ years of experience with Vulnerability & Patch management, preferably within a Cybersecurity function for a large enterprise. 2+ years of systems vulnerability assessment & operational support experience. 2+ years conducting vulnerability analysis and developing executive-ready reports. 2+ years in a governance role, identifying and prioritizing areas of non-adherence, report development, remediation monitoring, and escalation to senior management. 1+ years of configuration experience with Cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, or MS Azure. Experience with enterprise vulnerability assessment solutions (e.g., Qualys, Guardium, Nmap, Tenable). Knowledge of CVE and CVSS. Understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance principles for monitoring adherence to security policies. Knowledge of data automation tools (MS Power Platform, Alteryx, etc.). Ability to plan, manage work effectively, ensure quality, and meet standards and guidelines. Familiarity with bank security procedures and policies, especially data handling & protection. Experience with Agile project delivery. Professional communication skills. Negotiation, influence, and collaboration skills. Strong time management and multitasking abilities. Ability to influence at all organizational levels. Advanced cybersecurity knowledge. What You Will Be Doing
Analyze security incidents and conduct digital forensics to identify causes and drive remediation. Perform GRC activities to identify, prioritize, and monitor risks, escalating critical issues to management. Provide security consulting for internal projects to ensure compliance with policies and standards. Design, test, maintain, and resolve issues related to security solutions across various domains. Review and correlate security logs. Implement security components related to availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat detection, incident response, access management, and business continuity. Identify vulnerabilities, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation options. Collaborate with peers and managers to resolve issues and meet goals. Conduct governance routines regularly. Retrieve and analyze data to ensure accuracy and completeness. Process large data sets into actionable insights. Engage with product owners for non-adherence issues and monitor remediation efforts. Prepare executive reports highlighting critical risks. Develop automated workflows for data processing and reporting.
