Overview

Instrumentation & Electrical Technician Entry - Rotator at Archrock. Performs basic I&E duties under supervision and assists in installation of pneumatic tubing and electronic components on equipment in the production area. Responsibilities

Maintains a safe and well-organized work environment. Perform minor electrical repairs and installations alone or as part of a team. Complete and submit required documentation accurately and timely. Utilize on-the-job training of all shop mechanic personnel. Perform basic installation of pneumatic tubing and basic layout of tubing on skids. Read General Adjustment and P&ID drawings. Assist with fabrication of bracket braces and instrument racks. Assist in required testing of tubing. Assist in running conduit of varying sizes. Make final electrical connections after installation of conduit and tubing. Report problems arising during the test cycle on units. Assist in testing of control panels and make connections to ensure the panel functions yield accurate results. Assist in certifying units, final inspections, and test documents. Assist with mechanical assembly. Bend, fabricate, and install rigid/ aluminum EMT, plasti-bond conduit, tubing, and stainless steel 1/4" - 1" diameter. Non-Essential Duties

Performs other duties as assigned. All employees shall be in compliance with the Archrock Health Safety and Environmental Policy and local, statutory and/or regulatory requirements at all times. Qualifications

Skills and Abilities

Perform all assigned duties. Assist in troubleshooting issues. Perform required testing of tubing. Develop proficiency to perform quality, efficient work with less assistance. Comply with all applicable safety and environmental policies and procedures. Knowledge

Knowledge of pneumatic tubing types. General understanding of end devices and system flow. Minimum Education and Certification

High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training preferred. Minimum Experience

0-1 year related experience. Some experience in electronics. Leadership

No leadership responsibilities. Physical Demands
