Responsibilities

Safely and effectively perform cardiac monitoring.

Document all care and obtained information accurately in the medical record.

Continuously monitor ECG status of patients and contribute data for assessment, applying age‑specific standards.

Direct flow of patient medical records including assembly of admission charts, verifying face sheets, labeling, and placing rhythm strips according to ICU policy.

Interact with families in a warm and sincere manner, addressing concerns.

Act composed and professionally, especially under pressure.

Accurately measure, diagnose, and analyze ECG rhythm strips.

Value role as a team member and work effectively to achieve departmental and hospital goals.

Qualifications

Basic Arrhythmia Recognition certification within 6 months of employment start.

Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start.
