The Senior IT Applications Analyst utilizes specialized knowledge of software and systems components and applies knowledge and skills in problem-solving and configuration changes. This role analyzes, documents, installs, supports, and maintains applications, software, and systems for IMSD and client departments. The Senior IT Applications Analyst adheres to ITIL best practices and collaborates with client customers. Essential Responsibilities

Configures applications, systems, and solutions maintenance. Hands-on support for day-to-day usage of applications. Maintains in-depth knowledge of Milwaukee County Enterprise applications, technology, and integrations. Provides technical support to Milwaukee County and IMSD staff. Supports Activities Leadership. Converts requirements into appropriate system configurations. Supports planning, creation, and implementation of interfaces and other integrations as necessary. Serves as primary support resource for applications and for integration of County to enterprise systems. Ensures the security and integrity of all systems and data. Maintains security, compliance, and data integrity. Creates, implements, maintains, and tests disaster recovery procedures for applications. Ensures change control and support ticketing processes are executed by defined procedures. Development of Excellent Solution Delivery People. Practices strong personal management routines; participates in the IMSD performance management process to drive goals and performance; works effectively in a matrix environment and fosters collaboration; upholds IMSD reputation for solid delivery. Administrative and supervision duties. Completes administrative tasks including time reporting and documentation. Provides supervision to other analysts and acts as lead programmer within projects or maintenance tasks. Assists management in developing policies and procedures. Software Creation. Creates, maintains, and upgrades existing and new software systems. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications

Current resident of Wisconsin. Associate Degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field with at least five (5) years of related IT experience. OR Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field with at least two (2) years of related IT experience. Advanced knowledge of computer and software applications, such as word processing and spreadsheets. Advanced knowledge of configuring and managing web-based applications. Preferred skills and knowledge

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Experience configuring and managing web-based applications. Strong understanding of technical concepts, approaches, and designs; proficient in handling complex technical concepts, latest tools, and troubleshooting techniques. Experience using IT systems in large, distributed organizations. Understanding of internet technologies like HTTPS, FTP, IIS, SMTP, DNS, and VPN. Experience with programming languages such as SQL, HTML, Visual Basic, C#, Visual C++, JavaScript, Java, PHP, Python, or others. Experience with databases such as Azure SQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Oracle, Access, or other databases. Experience with file formats like CSV, XML, fixed-length, and EDI. Experience with content management systems like OnBase, Titan, or others. Knowledge of Office 365 or Google Workspace. Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. General knowledge of network hardware/protocols and desktop hardware/OS. ITIL Foundation Certified. NOTE:
