Viaero Wireless $85,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr The Database Administrator for our Fiber Optic Network will perform a variety of tasks related to configuring, designing, building, and tracking detailed fiber network information. This person will support the network QuickBase inventory platform while working directly with our network team in obtaining the required information. The ideal candidate can work in a fast‑paced environment and is a self‑motivated professional capable of managing and prioritizing a high‑level of diverse, deadline‑driven tasks. The Viaero Fiber office is in Fort Morgan, CO and due to the nature of this position, this person will need to work onsite. Roles and Responsibilities
Develop, create, track, update and manage reports for network QuickBase database. Edit, manipulate, and maintain network data using QuickBase software. Knowledge of relational database design and software development lifecycles from conception to deployment. Maintain, update, and organize document storage, and upload network documents. Support the network and construction teams by tracking and completing related data related to OSP engineering, splicing, testing, and utility construction operations. Support ongoing data development and special analysis for telecommunication project. Train and educate employees on software principles and techniques. Perform other office tasks/other data entry as needed. Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science or Database Management discipline or relevant certification required. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Database engineer required. Expert knowledge of MS SQL Server required. Experience working with Amazon AWS, MS Azure, Apache Iceberg, and AWS Glue a plus. Built‑out OLAP and other tools for data mining. Proven working experience as a Database Administrator. Hands‑on experience with database standards and end‑user applications. Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL. Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding. Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third‑party tools. Familiarity with programming languages API. Problem‑solving skills and ability to think algorithmically. Must pass pre‑employment processes, including MVR check, criminal background check, and drug test. Drug testing follows federal law.
