Facilities Gas/Chemical Systems Coordinator Overview The Facilities Gas/Chemical Systems Coordinator at Micron Technology, Inc., coordinates gas and chemical distribution system activities in a high-volume manufacturing site to ensure there is no impact to site or manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include scheduling preventive maintenance, coordinating work with process tool owners, supporting new tool installations, repairs and projects. The coordinator will work in a team with other engineering/construction teams to support safe, reliable and efficient gas and chemical systems in semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Complete safety training and follow all Micron and TD safety policies, stopping work when unsafe conditions are identified.

Enforce compliance with safety procedures, including PPE use, lockout/tagout (CoHE), chemical handling, and job hazard analyses (JHA/JSA).

Respond quickly to safety and quality issues, report EHS concerns within 24 hours, and lead audits and incident investigations.

Identify and implement improvements to reduce hazards, enhance quality, increase efficiency, and support cost-saving initiatives.

Support system installations, audits, data collection, and troubleshooting; lead lessons learned activities in area of expertise.

Communicate regularly with stakeholders, share updates on priorities and changes, and promote collaboration across teams and shifts.

Follow change control processes, ensure documentation meets standards, and clearly communicate equipment or process changes.

Apply technical knowledge to solve problems, manage multiple tasks, lead projects, and effectively communicate complex information.

Minimum Requirements

AA degree, or equivalent experience.

2 years of leadership experience

2+ years of project or program management experience

2+ years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment, automation, and/or technical military experience.

Preferred Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience

4+ years of gas or chemical delivery systems field experience

4+ years of project or program management experience

4+ years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment, automation, and/or technical military experience.
