I&E Technician – Fresno, California operations Hourly wage:
up to $43.63, based on experience and qualifications.
What You’ll Do
Lead troubleshooting and repair of complex instrumentation and electrical systems across the plant.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of plant equipment.
Handle hazardous waste in accordance with OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT and HAZWOPER guidelines.
Maintain inventory for process equipment and ensure parts availability.
Support site projects including turnarounds, confined space entry and lockout/tagout.
Conduct vessel inspections and keep maintenance areas clean and organized.
Participate in emergency response efforts and implement response plans as needed.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions and maintain a strong presence in the plant’s safety program.
What You’ll Bring / Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; degree in Electrical/Instrumentation & Control preferred.
Verifiable technical training or work experience.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and manuals.
Strong troubleshooting, mechanical and analytical skills.
Solid communication skills and basic computer literacy.
Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs and stand for long periods. Must be medically cleared to use SCBA and other respiratory equipment.
