Overview
The Finance Data Hub team plays a key role in how our client approaches data analytics across the enterprise. Positioned within the Data Platform group, this team focuses on building a modernized, cloud-native data warehouse using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies such as Cloud Run and BigQuery to create scalable infrastructure that enables efficient, secure, and insightful financial data operations. Key Responsibilities
Designing, building, and maintaining data solutions including data infrastructure, pipelines, and analytics tools. Collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing large volumes of data efficiently and accurately. Partnering with business, technology, and finance stakeholders to translate complex business processes into detailed, actionable technical requirements. Designing, building, and maintaining reliable, efficient, and scalable data infrastructure and pipelines. Planning, designing, and building scalable data solutions, including data pipelines, models, and applications for efficient data workflow. Designing and maintaining data platforms like data warehouses, data lakes, and data lakehouses for structured and unstructured data. Developing analytical tools, algorithms, and programs to support data engineering activities. Ensuring optimal performance and identifying improvement opportunities. Identifying and validating source systems within the BigQuery environment, documenting findings for future reuse. Collaborating with the data architect to ensure delivered solutions align with enterprise standards and promote reusable components. Creating comprehensive documentation, including business requirement documents, data dictionaries, and implementation guides. Skills Required
