CMHA is looking to hire a 1st shift full-time 40 hours per week Junior Systems Cloud Administrator. This position will be located in New Britain, CT. (Mon-Fri 8:30am – 4:30pm). This is an on-site position based in New Britain, CT. Remote work is not available. Compensation: The annual salary range for this position starts at $70,500. Compensation for each position is determined not only by years of relevant experience, education, and skills, but also by maintaining internal pay equity. Position Summary
Under the supervision of Information Technology Manager, this role supports the stability and performance of the organization’s IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting systems to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime. Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain servers, networks, and systems under the guidance of IT manager and or the Systems Cloud Administrator. Provide first-level support for technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers and software. Assist in setting up and configuring new hardware and software. Ensure network security and connectivity for the network. Participate in onboarding/offboarding of employees (account creation, user rights, device setup etc.) Support and troubleshoot issues with card access and camera security. Monitor virus protection and software patches. Assist with the agency phone system configurations and functionality. Provide regular communication updates regarding system performance, maintenance and other computer-related issues. Assist with documenting processes and maintaining asset/network inventory. Support disaster recovery planning and execution. Provide after-hours on call coverage as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field or a diploma/trade certification from a Technical School is required. A comparable amount of training, experience, and required credentials/certifications may be substituted for the minimum qualifications of Education. Preferred qualifications
CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or CompTIA Security+ are a plus. Valid Connecticut driver’s license. Basic knowledge of Windows server environments. Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure and Microsoft 365. Experience with system imaging, antivirus and backup solutions. Experience working in a healthcare facility, preferred. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment to solve complex technical issues. Timely, courteous and effective customer relations skills. Benefits
