Surveillance Administrator (Hollywood Location)
Overview
The Surveillance Administrator provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Seminole Tribal Gaming Commission Surveillance Department. The incumbent ensures protection of assets and compliance with the Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS), Seminole Tribal Gaming Code, State of Florida Gaming Compact, and STGC approved policies and procedures. The Administrator assists with training programs, standard operating procedures and departmental initiatives, works closely with Surveillance Managers and staff across all Seminole Tribe of Florida casinos, and reports directly to the Senior Surveillance Manager. The position is classified as exempt.
Responsibilities
Design, implement and maintain departmental training, SOPs, manuals and budgets to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Liaise between the Surveillance Department, internal departments, casino operations and Tribal officials.
Detect, investigate suspicious or illegal activities, compile findings and present reporting to the Senior Surveillance Manager.
Develop SMART goals, performance evaluations and recruitment initiatives; mentor staff and promote continuous improvement.
Operate surveillance equipment and software; collaborate with the Technical Team for repairs and upgrades.
Audit surveillance reports, video evidence and logs for accuracy.
Assist with budget monitoring and compliance at all properties.
Analyze gaming play breakdowns and statistical data to support casino operations.
Stay current on criminal trends, cheating methods and emerging threats to casino assets.
Ensure strict adherence to policies and confidentiality rules.
Participate in management training and operational meetings; coordinate special projects as required.
Act as deputy for the Senior Surveillance Manager during absences.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of Native American culture, Tribal Government and casino operations.
Expertise with surveillance equipment and technology.
Familiarity with gaming regulations and surveillance activities.
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to travel between properties and sit for extended periods at monitors.
Capacity to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly and maintain confidentiality.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and video surveillance equipment.
Analytical skills to develop solutions and make recommendations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 10 years of casino surveillance experience (management preferred).
Current Florida driver’s license; willingness to travel to all properties.
Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays for 24/7 operations.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must obtain and maintain an active Employee Gaming License.
Background check and licensing required prior to offer.
Physical Demands Work requires frequent sitting, intermittent standing, walking, bending, reaching and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Driving a company vehicle may be required.
Working Conditions Primarily office-based in a well-lit environment, performed within a gaming casino setting with exposure to tobacco smoke and noise.
Location The Surveillance Administrator may be based at any Seminole Tribe of Florida casino or at the Seminole Tribe of Florida Headquarters.
