Join us in this exciting opportunity to leverage your tax expertise in a dynamic, collaborative, and client-focused environment. This role is for a Permanent Tax Associate Attorney within a Global AmLaw firm. Responsibilities

Providing comprehensive tax advice on complex business transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, private equity investments, and capital market transactions. Performing tax due diligence, drafting tax opinion letters, and preparing tax memoranda. Advising on and implementing tax-efficient structures for domestic and cross-border transactions. Assisting with corporate restructuring activities, including advising on tax implications and potential tax efficiencies. Keeping abreast of current tax laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels, and advising clients accordingly. Collaborating with other attorneys in the firm to provide holistic legal advice that considers all relevant legal and tax implications. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives, and providing tailored tax solutions. Qualifications

Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in the state. Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in tax law, with a focus on business transactions. Strong knowledge of acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, capital markets, and restructuring. In-depth understanding of state and local tax laws. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning. Equal Opportunity
