in the Firm’s Los Angeles (Century City) office. The Legal Administrative Assistant will help support high-performing legal professionals in the disputes and transactions verticals. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively across departments, providing a wide range of legal and administrative support. Position Overview The Legal Administrative Assistant provides efficient and high-quality legal support to timekeepers and business professionals. This role involves document production, calendar and travel management, client service coordination, and general administrative support. It requires strong legal practice area knowledge and the ability to maintain professional relationships with attorneys, clients, and firm staff. Key Responsibilities Provide legal and administrative support to attorneys and business professionals across disputes and transactions teams Assist with client billing, attorney travel, scheduling meetings and calls (Teams and Zoom), expense reports, and calendar management Prepare and format Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents Serve as a collaborative member of the client service team, including providing back-up coverage when needed Work on multiple ongoing matters with responsibility for various administrative and client-facing tasks Required Skills and Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with attorneys, clients, and internal departments Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to perform advanced document formatting, redlining, and file conversions Strong understanding of legal terminology and document types Proven time management and organizational skills High attention to detail with strong proofreading and document review abilities Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Commitment to ongoing learning and skills development through available training Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required Bachelor’s degree or some college coursework strongly preferred Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a law firm or professional services environment This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced legal team.
