Position Summary We are searching for a motivated Quality Auditor that will be part of our manufacturing plant team. The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for auditing products and processes in assigned work areas; to report quality issues; to train operators on the requirements to produce a quality product. In your role with Associated Materials Innovations, you will ensure our products maintain the highest level of quality satisfaction our customers expect. What To Expect

Make decisions based on data to support KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Cooperate with all other departments so the plant meets all safety, quality, delivery, and cost KPI’s

Audit products and processes in assigned work areas, ie DQC

Report/flag quality issues immediately to the area Lead

Assist in the training of operators in what is acceptable and what is not to produce a quality product.

Cover for any absent EOL on any of the production lines as required during complete or partial shifts

Verify the quality of the product as it is being made

Cross train in other areas in the department to be proficient in all jobs on the production line.

Responsible for utilizing proper personal protection equipment when required.

Report/flag equipment problems/concerns immediately to the area Lead.

Perform regular checks on the product and the process to reduce variables and inconsistency.

Be a hands‑on team player.

Conform to site health and safety procedures as appropriate.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support team operations and business needs.

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent required

Prior experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environment preferred

Must be fluent in English & be able to understand ALWIN system notes.

Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects

Basic math and measurement skills

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Basic computer skills for logging inspection data

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed

Work Environment The atmosphere is that of a manufacturing plant. The position will primarily work where moving machinery produces noise. Employees must wear Personal Protective Equipment that is issued for that location. Temperature can range from extreme cold to extreme heat. Physical fitness to include movements, positioning, remaining stationary which include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing). Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance, 80lbs-100lb with assistance. Frequent use of company communication devices are required such as a computer, phone, and other office electronics.
