What You Will Do
Complete federal and state individual tax returns (1040) for customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Provide tax advice, calculate tax liabilities, and resolve product/software inquiries.
Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver correct answers in plain language.
Interact with customers via video communication software; document interactions accurately.
Who You Are
Minimum 2 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal & state 1040 returns with commercial tax prep software.
Active, unrestricted credential: CPA, EA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
Active PTIN.
Bilingual English & Spanish communication skills (written & spoken).
Excellent customer‑service skills and confident video/audio interaction.
Passionate about helping clients navigate tax complexities and enhancing the Intuit brand.
What You Need
High‑speed internet meeting Intuit security criteria.
Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week across three or more days.
Compensation Base pay ranges by region:
Bay Area, California: $28.80 – $36.50/hr
Southern California: $28.80 – $36.50/hr
Colorado: $27.50 – $34.80/hr
Hawaii: $28.80 – $36.50/hr
Illinois: $27.50 – $34.80/hr
Maryland: $27.50 – $34.80/hr
Massachusetts: $28.80 – $36.50/hr
Minnesota: $24.80 – $30.30/hr
New Jersey: $28.80 – $36.50/hr
New York: $28.80 – $36.50/hr
Ohio: $24.80 – $30.30/hr
Vermont: $27.50 – $34.80/hr
