Founded in 1986, OnTrac has evolved into the leading provider of same-day and next-day delivery services in the U.S. for premier e-commerce and product-supply businesses, including five of the largest retailers in the U.S. Location: Remote Salary: $74 - 92 K Annually Shift: Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm Employment Logistics: The Maintenance Training Manager is responsible for developing, standardizing, and deploying technical training programs for maintenance technicians across OnTrac’s network. This role ensures all technicians—entry-level to senior—are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and certifications needed to safely maintain and troubleshoot automated parcel handling equipment. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership experience and instructional skill. They will work closely with site leadership, Engineering, and Safety to drive technician development, improve uptime, and reduce risk through consistent training standards. Conduct assessments, skills audits, & job task analyses to identify training gaps across the network. Facilitate hands-on, classroom, & virtual training sessions in partnership with OEMs & internal SMEs. Oversee onboarding and ramp-up for new technicians & maintenance leaders. Evaluate training effectiveness through audits, technician assessments, and uptime/reliability KPIs. Support safety programs through lockout/tagout, fall protection, & electrical safety training compliance following OSHA, NFPA, and NEC regulations.
