The City of Richmond is currently accepting application for an Entry-Level Full-Time Officer.
10-hour shifts • 3 days off between shifts, rotating monthly shift - one month Friday-Sunday off; one month Monday-Wednesday off
Wages: $43,139 - $69,014, bonus for attaining Associates and Bachelors Degrees
Afternoon Shift Differential = $ .15
Midnight Shift Differential = $ .25
$300 annual stipend for specialty assignments
Up to $1,000 Tuition Reimbursement per year
13 paid holidays
120 hours of sick leave (option to sell back 50% of any unused sick leave annual accrual)
6 personal days (2 charged to sick bank)
Vacation:
1 year of service = 80 hours 15 years+ = 200 hours
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree or prior Law Enforcement experience and MCOLES Certified or currently enrolled in a MCOLES accredited Police Academy BENEFITS:
