The Carlisle Police Department is seeking a highly motivated, community-orientated full-time police officer.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be at least 21 years of age; possess a valid driver’s license and have the ability to acquire a Massachusetts Class A License to Carry Firearms; must be available to work all shifts for a 24/7 operation, including weekends and holidays; possess a high level of integrity, ability to problem solve, and have effective verbal and written communication skills. Animal Control Certification will receive preference. Starting pay starting at $72,249.28, followed by steps until top step at $84,319.48, plus full Quinn Bill educational incentives for 10% for Associates Degree, 20% for Bachelor’s Degree, and 25% for Master’s Degree. Excellent benefits including vacation, sick leave, longevity, health insurance, stipend pay, 13 paid holidays, and clothing incentive. Candidate will be subjected to extensive background investigation, psychological screening, and medical evaluation.
