Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director to assist in the leadership and administration of our early childhood education center. The Assistant Director will work closely with the Director to oversee daily operations, ensure program quality, and support staff, families, and children in achieving their goals. Key Responsibilities

Support the Director in overseeing the daily operations of the center, including staffing, compliance, and program development. Ensure all activities align with state licensing requirements and accreditation standards. Assist in managing and mentoring staff, including conducting performance evaluations and professional development. Collaborate with families to address concerns and foster strong relationships. Monitor classroom environments to ensure safety, organization, and curriculum implementation. Coordinate and lead meetings with staff, families, and community partners. Develop and maintain records, reports, and documentation as required. Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. Health, dental, and vision insurance. Minimum of 2 years experience in early childhood education, with at least 1years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of child development, curriculum planning, and state licensing requirements. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to build positive relationships with staff, families, and community members. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
