We are seeking an experienced and passionate Middle School Geography Teacher to join our school in Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka. The ideal candidate will have an MA and BEd, along with a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in Geography. We are looking for an educator who can inspire students to explore and appreciate geographical concepts and promote a hands-on, inquiry-based approach to learning. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive Geography lessons for middle school students. Design and implement instructional materials and assessments aligned with curriculum standards. Encourage critical thinking and analytical skills through interactive teaching methodologies. Foster a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, exploration, and active participation. Assess and document students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development. Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and cohesive educational experience for students. Stay updated on trends in Geography education and incorporate relevant practices into teaching. Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities. Requirements:
Master’s degree (MA) in Geography. Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree. Minimum 4 years of experience as a Geography Teacher. Strong understanding of Geography concepts and teaching methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Passion for teaching and ability to inspire students.
