New Hampton Golf and Country Club
is seeking a knowledgeable and hands-on
Grounds Superintendent
to oversee turf maintenance and grounds care for our nine-hole golf course. This position is vital to ensuring high-quality playing conditions, managing the grounds team, and preserving the overall beauty and environmental health of our course and facilities. Key Responsibilities
Plan, supervise, and participate in the maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, practice areas, and surrounding grounds. Develop and implement turf management programs (mowing, irrigation, fertilization, aeration, pest/weed control). Operate, maintain, and repair groundskeeping equipment and irrigation systems. Monitor course conditions and adjust practices to maintain optimal turf health and playability. Prepare and manage annual budgets and capital improvement plans with the Board. Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise seasonal/grounds staff. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards (pesticides, water usage, equipment handling). Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, chemical applications, and equipment servicing. Collaborate with management on course improvements, tournament prep, and long-term planning.
