This position offers a unique opportunity to build upon the academic affiliation of University of Toledo College of Medicine with a large, vibrant community hospital. The Interventional Pulmonologist will be joining a robust academic program with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, medical education, and translational research. This role offers a balance of procedural focus and academic contribution, without ICU responsibilities, making it ideal for candidates passionate about advances in pulmonary procedures, teaching, and innovation. Program Highlights: Comprehensive interventional infrastructure: robotic bronchoscopy, EBUS, cryotherapy, pleuroscopy, airway stenting, valve therapies Multidisciplinary collaboration with thoracic surgery, oncology, and radiology, with active participation in tumor boards and lung nodule clinics Very competitive pulmonary and critical care fellowship program with opportunities to teach and mentor fellows, residents, and students Academic appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level, with strong institutional support for research and innovation Protected OR time for procedures, No ICU coverage Light weekend Commitment: only 4 weekends per year Minimum Qualifications
