Leasing Manager
Salary: $25-$27/hr • Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday

Responsibilities
Oversee activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins and move-outs, and lease renewals.
Market to prospective residents and interact with current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and resident retention.
Generate and handle traffic, qualify prospective residents, prepare lease documentation, and complete move-in paperwork.
Review lease applications for accuracy and ensure payment is collected before approval by the property manager.
Conduct outside marketing, employer outreach, and review Internet and marketing ads; may perform marketing functions as needed.
Maintain accurate records of traffic activity and translate phone traffic into scheduled tours.
Provide follow-up with prospective residents and orient them to the property.
Process renewal paperwork and maintain resident files; ensure move-in readiness of model apartments and properties.
Coordinate move-in/out schedules with maintenance and inspect units prior to occupancy.
Assist with work orders and contribute to resident activities to enhance retention.
Promote excellent customer service and a quality living experience for residents and clients.
Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High school diploma required.
Minimum of one year of residential leasing and/or management experience.
Experience with a revenue management system required.
Experience with Yardi or another property management system required.
Experience with customer reputation management tools required.
Skills and Requirements
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to communicate effectively at all management levels and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
Strong written and verbal communication in English; comfortable using office equipment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and current auto insurance required.
Compliance with safety requirements and completion of Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within 30 days of employment.
