What You'll Do

Client Support

Maintain accurate client information and provide day‑to‑day support, addressing intermediate‑level inquiries while delivering exceptional customer care.

Assist in developing strong business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel, recognizing and satisfying carrier goals and objectives to enhance business relationships.

Account Management

Maintain files with proper records according to company procedures, following procedures to achieve positive audit results.

Ensure accuracy of account information for new and renewal policies, processing change requests and endorsement checking, addressing proper exposures for policy rating, completing coverage reviews and gap analysis, and accurately transacting agency bill policies.

Review all accounts receivable and policy cancellation notices according to Agency procedures, recognizing that the Agency must process in a timely manner.

Monitor renewal premium increases for remarketing based on the agency’s retention strategies.

Secure documentation needed to be retained by the agency, including signed applications, replacement cost estimates, rejection of coverage and confirmation of orders.

Insurance Expertise

Leverage technical knowledge to ensure carrier quotes are received in a timely fashion; review quotes for gaps and assist with inquiries from the carrier.

Attend training and seek self‑directed learning to continue education in industry and technical knowledge.

What You'll Need

1‑3 years of FL specific personal lines insurance experience is required

Property and Casualty License (2044, 220 or 440)

Working knowledge of available personal lines coverages based on business and industry

Proficient in providing client service through electronic, telephone, and in‑person interaction

Problem solving skills; strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in use of Agency Management software, or demonstrated skill at quickly learning new systems

Proficient in use of Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheet and presentation software

Bilingual French‑Canadian speaker preferred
