Overview
Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
A leading business management firm specializing in providing financial and business support services to clients in the entertainment industry with offices located in Los Angeles County. The firm offers a dynamic work environment where professionals can thrive and grow their careers while serving some of the most renowned names in entertainment. The Senior Staff Accountant will oversee a portfolio of clients, manage their financial records, and oversee daily cash management activities.

Responsibilities
Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights into financial planning and decision-making
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including posting journal entries, maintaining general ledger accuracy, and reconciling accounts
Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
Prepare and file various tax documents, including quarterly estimated tax payments, sales tax returns, and annual tax filings, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Conduct financial analysis and reporting, offering insights into revenue trends, expense patterns, and profitability metrics
Partner closely with external stakeholders, such as clients' agents, attorneys, and financial advisors, to provide seamless financial management
Support the year-end audit process, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with industry standards
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and financial reporting accuracy
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or business related degree
3+ years of accounting experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Prior experience working with QuickBooks
Able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
