The Relationship Banker serves as the single point of contact for customers, helping match needs with First United Bank products and services, and mentoring employees to do the same. The role requires a positive attitude, precision, and adherence to policies and regulatory standards. Responsibilities

Maintain a basic knowledge of all First United Bank products, services, procedures, policies, and relevant regulatory issues related to daily job functions including Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy; Fair Lending; Regulation E; deposit, transaction, and loan accounts. Follow proper procedures for all customer-servicing activities with accuracy and efficiency. Retain existing customers and develop new relationships; serve as customers\' single point of contact on all bank products and services. Meet or exceed performance goals; participate in sales campaigns; promote new products and services and educate customers and peers. Participate in meetings, bank functions, and customer appreciation/community events as requested or assigned. Provide excellent service, greet customers by name, build rapport, and generate customer loyalty. Identify and match customer product needs with First United Bank products and services by interviewing customers and discussing financial needs, and refer to other staff as needed. Open new accounts, certificates of deposit, and other bank products; provide information and complete paperwork accurately. Assist customers with routine questions and requests (e.g., balance inquiries, statements, stop payments, online banking, ACH, transfers, wire processing, notary services, privacy). Process transactions quickly with minimal errors according to bank policies; manage cash handling, deposits, and various payment instruments. Maintain appropriate drawer limits, perform cash verifications, and ensure cashiering accuracy. Proactively resolve customer complaints and issues; review and resolve account issues; assist with repayment plans as needed. Perform security functions for opening/closing bank and vault; ensure safety of bank premises. Master the primary duties of the Relationship Banker I position. Qualifications

High School Diploma strongly preferred; some college preferred. Minimum of 1 year banking experience (Teller, Lending Assistant, or New Accounts) required. Cash handling experience preferred. Superior customer service skills required; basic mathematics; accuracy and attention to detail. Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication abilities; effective time management and ability to work independently. Good judgment, decision-making, and critical thinking; ability to multi-task. Professional attitude and appearance; ethical conduct; active listening with a focus on assisting customers.
