As one of more than 300 Lithia & Driveway Dealerships nationwide representing over 30 manufacturers in 25 states, there are many opportunities for you to pursue your short and long-term career goals.**Responsibilities:*** Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards* Diagnose cause of malfunction* Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements* Work with supervisor/mentor to ride along on road-tests of vehicles to ensure quality of repair work* Accurately record time spent on repairs, utilizing company time clocking procedures* Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results* Use shop tools, supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner* Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.* Ensure that customer’s vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.* Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management* Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management* Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.* Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.* Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards according to departmental policies.* Arrive at work, take breaks, and depart work at the times designated by management.**Qualifications:*** Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.* Excellent communication skills both written and oral* Active Listening – give full attention to the words and body language of others, take time to understand the points being made and ask questions as appropriate* Critical Thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.* Time Management – ability to prioritize workload and manage one’s own time.* Junior Fixed Operations Associate – Technician – No previous experience required.* This is a non-driving role.
