Position Summary
Position provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; providing guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology; assisting members with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving member issues and concerns; and promoting the company's products and services. What you'll do
Assist management with the supervision of associates in assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training on processes and procedures, and guiding member service approaches to ensure issues are resolved according to company guidelines. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support the Open Door Policy, and participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Receive and stock supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors; organize and maintain the sales floor using equipment and merchandising; complete required documentation. Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, forklift procedures, handling hazardous materials, following steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe conditions. Maintain merchandise presentation and floor upkeep by handling claims and returns, zoning, stocking and organizing merchandise, setting up displays, pricing, identifying shrink and damages, and securing fragile/high-shrink items. Monitor product quality through rotation, dating, recalls, sanitation, merchandising, stocking, zoning, and cleaning across all departments. Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; analyzing information and identifying improvement opportunities. Demonstrate and promote compliance with policies, ethics, and integrity; explain and apply these in day-to-day processes; support action plans and Open Door Policy; assist management with addressing compliance issues. Lead and participate in teams by coordinating work, allocating resources, providing feedback, and modeling adaptability to change. Minimum Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older. 6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications
