Our security officers support critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues requiring an enhanced presence, and personal protective services. You will be trained by our team of highly qualified firearms instructors in safe weapons handling and marksmanship. As an Armed Security Officer, you are an integral part of the broad spectrum of specialized security services Inter-Con provides daily. Each candidate must have achieved at least
ONE
of the following: Military service that included law enforcement or security duties/support in a combat zone Eight years' active service in any military branch Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice Associate degree in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service Graduation from a certified public safety academy in law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighting Inter-Con is seeking motivated individuals for the role of Armed Security Officer. Duties and Responsibilities include: Conduct equipment checks and report malfunctions Perform interior and exterior patrols Inspect various areas of the premises Interact verbally with employees to promote active security Remain alert for suspicious activities Monitor personnel traffic and activities Respond to emergencies Veterans:
