Candidates must currently live in, be near, or be willing to relocate to the Temecula, California area. Curriculum Associates seeks a Professional Learning Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate has a background in teaching and/or coaching Mathematics or ELA, as well as experience leading professional development with school and district leaders. Successful candidates will work flexibly with different team members including our Sales team, teachers, students, and school districts as part of day-to-day interactions. Responsibilities include targeted professional development, ongoing in-classroom support, data analysis, daily project management, and communication with district and site leaders. Dynamic, engaging leaders who are committed to improving how schools teach Mathematics and ELA to students in grades K–8 are encouraged to apply. Support districts in selecting and implementing products with lasting impact on learning. Work with multiple stakeholders across large audiences. Support district-wide adoptions of the Ready program and the i-Ready online diagnostic and instruction program. Deliver professional development to teachers, coaches, and leaders to promote equity in the classroom. Meet teachers where they are and provide tailored on-site support, including lesson planning, pacing, data analysis, and guidance for leaders on implementation. Collaborate with district and site leaders to develop and revise annual professional development plans and schedules. Act as a thought leader for Curriculum Associates and embody the company’s mission-driven approach. Stay current with company-provided educational conferences and participate in team-provided development when scheduling permits. Who we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in teaching, coaching teachers, or providing professional development. Fluency with digital tools including online assessments and the ability to discuss and apply data with teachers and leaders. Understanding of adult learning principles and how to apply them to professional development. Ability to manage, monitor, evaluate, and ensure integrity of program implementations. Ability to provide high-quality classroom coaching to ensure teachers can effectively deliver Curriculum Associates solutions. Willingness to travel within the designated territory and to company meetings several times per year (as safety allows). Strong working knowledge of the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics/ELA, Grades K–8 (or comparable state standards), including content and practice standards. Benefits:

$60,750 - $99,750 The wage range reflects the range Curriculum Associates uses for compensation decisions and can vary based on experience and skills. It is not typical to hire at the top of the range for this role. Travel:
Travel up to 80% is required and is an essential function for educator-facing positions. Travel includes overnight stays and transportation via car, plane, or other means. Out-of-state travel may be required based on business needs. Location:
This position is based in Temecula, California and will support districts nearby and throughout California. Candidates must currently live in, be near, or be willing to relocate to the Temecula area. A valid driver’s license is required.
