Overview
Retail Stock Associate at Splendid. Must be able to pack, unpack and move stock when supporting receiving and stocking store functions. Splendid creates welcoming store moments and focuses on community, conversation, and celebrating everyday moments. Key Responsibilities
Execute flow of merchandise in and out of the stock area Process all merchandise shipments and report discrepancies to the Store Manager Properly fold or hang all merchandise in the stock area Maintain awareness of merchandise replenishment needs Ensure all customer shipments are prepared and processed for delivery Have complete knowledge of the store's merchandise and layout (back of house and front of house) Ensure stock area is organized, including supplies and display materials Replenish supplies as requested by management Assist with cleaning or maintenance on the sales floor or in the stock room as necessary Complete transfers, markdowns, and consolidations accurately Assist with inventory preparations and participate in actual inventory Assist with visual directives and floorset process; support visual team with store floorset as needed Required Skills
Minimum 1 year of related experience; retail experience preferred Excellent interpersonal skills in a team environment Excellent English communication – verbal and written Excellent time management and project skills Ability to recognize and respond to changing work demands Ability to stand and walk during shifts Must be able to pack, unpack and move stock when supporting receiving/stocking store functions Education/Experience
1+ years of related professional sales experience in specialty or luxury retail and/or customer service experience Special Physical And/Or Mental Requirements
Repeated hand motion while operating cash register or computer Regular interaction with the public in a busy store environment Standing required for the entire shift Operate office equipment (computers, phone, scanner, copier) Must work weekend and night shifts Climb ladders as needed Bend, lift, open, and move product up to 50 pounds as needed Reasonable Accommodation Notice
