Seasonal Key Holder – Hot Topic
We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers.
As a Seasonal Key Holder, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing the best customer experience, ensuring that fellow fans are able to get their hands on the merch they love. You’ll use your fandom knowledge to help train new recruits and support your Store Manager in daily operations and meeting sales targets.
What You’ll Do
Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return.
Step in and step up when needed, providing leadership support and helping run the store when the Manager gets pulled away.
Understand store sales plan and comp sales goals, and help drive sales by increasing key KPIs: UPT and ADT.
Cover the sales floor zone and ensure that assigned areas are up to visual standards; help with opening and closing.
Work the register, process sales transactions, and use fandom knowledge to drive add‑on sales; close out the register and communicate shortages or overages.
Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix.
Communicate fashion & music trend information to management and partners.
Ensure no misuse of spells and wizardry around theft.
Support maintenance of the store and keep the stock room organized.
Train and coach new Sales Associates to help them acclimate.
Perform other activities as assigned by Store Leader.
What You’ll Need
Previous experience working in a retail environment.
Superpowers in providing customer service and selling.
A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Avenger‑like collaboration and communication skills, as well as Captain America‑like leadership.
Ability to stand and walk during scheduled hours, reach for merch using a ladder, step stool, and pole, and move around boxes of merchandise up to 50 pounds.
Pay Range
$14.50 – $16.70 per hour
Salary may vary based on education, location, and experience.
