The Channel Sales Executive is responsible for achieving both sales and order financial plan performance for the buy/sell and manufacture representative sleeves of the two-way radio business by leveraging the indirect channel partner ecosystem. Responsibilities Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and project quota for Professional & Commercial Radio (PCR) systems, subscriber products, services, consoles, accessories and applications. Focus 75% of time on end-user engagements with or without a channel partner to grow the business. Identify opportunities with channel partners and work with vertical marketing teams to engage end users through associations or conferences. Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned channel partner accounts. Lead PCR solution development efforts addressing end-user needs and coordinate involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel. Support Partner Quarterly Business Reviews, Dealer Sales Rep training, Channel Partner Open House End User Seminars, and Webinars. Identify and qualify strategic channel partners with strong system expertise and commitment to invest in system solutions. Attain "Trusted Adviser" status with customers and channel partners to enable increased system and business development. Specific Knowledge/Skills Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales experience Understand the value of industry-specific applications and guidance on their selection and integration Ability to coach and mentor new sales reps within the Channel community CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred but not required) to manage pipeline, opportunities, and contacts Participate in and support Channel Partner Reviews, Sales training, and trade shows Proven closing skills with emphasis on velocity through the funnel Proficient with electronic documents, spreadsheets, and presentation tools (Google Apps preferred but not required) Proven funnel development through aggressive prospecting and targeting Experience with project sales preferred Location and Travel Candidate can live anywhere in the United States Travel up to 50% of the time Target Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 USD EEO Statement: Motorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
