Overview
Trellix is looking for an accomplished sales professional to join the Public Sector team and expand our sales efforts within large UK Public Sector accounts. We are looking for someone who excels in an environment of growth and who has demonstrated experience uncovering and reestablishing opportunities within the Public Sector vertical. Responsibilities
Develop and implement the sales strategy for large Public Sector accounts. Plan and direct all sales activities including resource planning, budget review, contract adherence, and collaboration with engineering, support, and inside sales teams. Establish short- and long-term goals with a plan aligned to corporate goals. Sell products to new and/or current customers in an assigned region to achieve or exceed quota. Contact prospective customers to determine product needs and perform sales presentations to match Trellix products with identified needs. Prospect and develop business, respond to RFPs, and develop proposals for presentation to customers. Coordinate account resources with marketing, Pre-Sales engineering, and development. Remain knowledgeable of all Trellix products to optimize sales efforts. Guide sales engineering resources. Think and act on both a tactical and strategic level. Maintain sales records and prepare sales reports. Monitor and adjust to competitive activities within the vertical and region and maintain an active pulse on the general business climate. About You
Experience and use of MEDDPICC Sales Methodology. Professional experience in Public Sector software sales. Consultative sales background. Intimate knowledge of UK Public Sector customers. Experience and credibility selling to C-level executives. High level of ambition. Experience closing seven-figure deals and a history of exceeding sales quotas. Communication and influence -- you adjust your communication style to fit the audience. Customer experience — you assume responsibility for solving customer problems and ensure commitments are met.
